An AI cannot build a working form. Its <form> sends the message to nowhere. WPPasteKit places a real form from your form plugin in the spot the design leaves for it.

Leave a spot in the design

The WPPasteKit prompt asks the AI for a styled wrapper with a placeholder inside:

<div class="form-slot">
  <!-- wppastekit:form -->
</div>

If your design has a hand-made form, replace it with this wrapper.

Choose the form

Choose a form once for the whole site under WPPasteKit > Site details, or per page in the Form box on the edit screen. The placeholder becomes that form.

Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Forminator and Fluent Forms are found automatically. Other form plugins can register themselves with the filter wppastekit_form_providers.

Name a form in the HTML

To place a specific form in one spot, name it in the placeholder:

<!-- wppastekit:form gravityforms:3 -->

Or use {{form.contact}}, which picks a form by title or id.

No form chosen yet

Without a form, the spot stays an HTML comment. Visitors do not see anything odd, and you can add the form later.

Styling the form

The form plugin prints its own fields and buttons. To match your design, style them inside the wrapper in your site styling, for example:

.form-slot input,
.form-slot textarea {
  width: 100%;
  padding: 12px 14px;
  border: 1px solid var(--border);
  border-radius: 8px;
}
