Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit wppastekit.com, buy a WPPasteKit licence, use the software or contact us, and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible

Webdelta B.V. is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Webdelta B.V., Ampèrestraat 3a, 1817 DE Alkmaar, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 42071843. VAT number NL869577980B01. Email: info@webdelta.nl. Phone: +31 72 520 10 53.

2. Websites built with WPPasteKit

WPPasteKit runs on your own WordPress website. We do not receive the content of your pages or any data about the visitors of your website. For your own website, you are the controller, and your own privacy policy applies.

3. Buying a licence

Licences are sold by Freemius, Inc., 4023 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807, United States, which acts as reseller and merchant of record. Freemius processes the details you enter in the checkout, such as your name, email address, billing address, VAT number and payment details, under its own privacy policy. Payment card details are handled by Freemius and its payment providers; we never see them.

Freemius shares with us the details we need to deliver what you bought: your name, email address, country, the plan you bought, the licence key, the purchase date and the amount.

4. Licence activation and updates

When you activate a licence key in the plugin, or when the plugin checks for updates, it contacts the licensing service of Freemius. It sends the licence key and the technical details needed to check the licence and deliver updates, such as the address of the website and the versions of the plugin, WordPress and PHP.

WPPasteKit does not collect usage statistics, and it does not send data about the logged-in user or about the visitors of your website.

5. Emails from us

As a customer, you receive messages that belong to your purchase: the purchase confirmation, licence and renewal notices and important security notices about the software. We send those because they are part of the service, or because we have a legitimate interest in warning you about a security issue.

Product news and announcements are only sent if you gave permission, for example in the checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every such email, or by emailing us.

6. Support and contact

When you email us, we process your name, email address, the content of your message and any details you send us, such as the address of your website or screenshots.

Please do not send us passwords or login details. If we need access to a website to solve a problem, we will ask for a temporary account and advise you to remove it afterwards.

Cookies. Without consent, we only use cookies that are needed for the website to work, such as the cookie that remembers your cookie choice and the cookies WordPress uses when you are logged in.

8. Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with parties that help us deliver the service:

We may also share data when the law requires us to.

9. Transfers outside the European Union

Freemius and Google are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this happens on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

10. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections, limited access to customer data and up-to-date software.

11. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.

To use your rights, email info@webdelta.nl. We answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the data protection authority in your own country. We would appreciate the chance to solve your concern first.

12. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not create profiles about you.

13. Changes

We may update this privacy policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
